NIKE AIR MAX DAY - AM1 "LA VILLE LUMIÈRE"
On March 26th we organized a special event at Sotf Prato: from 4 pm to 8 pm Demetra and Bianca (two locals djs) performed an exclusive live DJ set. The store was fully themed AIR MAX DAY and a special poster made with recycled paper, created for the occasion and made in respect of sustainable production, was given to all participants.

Air Max 1 celebrates its 35th anniversary. It all began with a trip to "La Ville Lumière" (aka Paris) in 1987.
While there, Nike designer Tinker Hatfield was inspired by the architectural concept of showing infrastructure from inside out. Windows told the story of what was happening inside, while the colors drew him in. Hatfield returned to the U.S. with the idea of opening a window into the structure of a shoe.
"People thought it was crazy - and maybe it was. But thanks to a team here at Nike made up of designers, developers and dreamers, we thought the unthinkable, achieved the unreachable, and made air visible. It wasn't easy and it wasn't always agreeable. At times, we butted heads - just as mark - but in the end, a shared belief in what we were doing, as a team and company, prevailed. As I say, the rest is history that's still being stamped by soles around the world.
Thank you for years of support.
Let the race continue."
